If you're looking for a little something different in July, thatgamecompany’s Sky: Children of the Light is putting on a musical event that brings new musical instruments, and other ways to get together, jam, and share your creations together.
Sky: Children of the Light is a cozy MMO and a shared open world social adventure for players of all ages. Music is important to Sky, so get ready to share and boost the event will begin on July 3rd and run through July 16th, centering upon Harmony Hall. Players can gather to listen, create, and share music together.
You can join other players to experience different sounds and melodies, and even the addition of two new musical instruments. the saxophone will arrive on July 3rd and will be purchasable with in-game currency that you can earn. The violin will be added on Friday, July 7th, and will cost $19.99. This will be in the shop even after the event is over. You can use one or both of the new instruments or any other ones in the game, obtain new musical sheets, and even earn yourself some additional light.
There will be shared jam stations to go and record your own musical compositions and share with everyone. You have to have any musical experience to take part in this melodic event. If you don't have any instruments yourself yet, four Spirits from the Seasons of Gratitude and Rhythm will be present for the event and each of them will have an instrument that you can unlock, including a piano, and a xylophone.
So if you have Sky: Children of the Light On PlayStation 4 /5 , Nintendo Switch, or on mobile, you'll be able to participate starting on Monday.
