TERA has launched a local server in Southeast Asia (SEA) encompassing Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Brunei. Here is the lowdown.

The details come via press release, stating any new existing players who join the server, called Shen, will be able to continue to play the game in addition to receiving the latest content updates which were unavailable in SEA previously. However, this content won’t be localized, so you’ll have to play in English, German, or French in Southeast Asia.

Your accounts can be moved right now, in fact. Note that these changes won’t affect any of your progress. For this purpose, a Gameforge account is created on the migration website (found here) that will allow players to access the game with their new account info and credentials upon downloading the Gameforge client.

Those players who log into the Shen server at least once prior to January 19th will receive a small in-game welcome gift. More information can be found through the official Gameforge TERA forums. Learn more in the FAQ here.
