The official Warframe convention TennoCon is around the corner, and so Digital Extremes has shared more information about the official fan event. Per an official forum post, for the event’s live streams on July 20th, there’ll be a pair of item drops available via Twitch and Steam—plus, fans can finally watch with closed captions for the biggest events.

The AX-52 Rifle will be the primary drop from official streams from 11:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. EDT, during the bulk of TennoCon activities, and the Saryn Prime will be available from 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. These will both be through Twitch’s item drop reward system, assuming you’ve linked up your Twitch and Warframe accounts. (Those at the con will get the drops via email, with no watching necessary, since they’re probably at the con watching these events.)

There’s also a reminder that, due to iOS guidelines clashing with the game’s recent iOS presence, if you’re watching the streams on the Twitch iOS app, you’ll need to use the browser or another official Twitch app to claim the prize. You can still watch it on your iPhone or whatnot to earn the drops, but you’ll need to switch to another platform to get the code.

Excitingly as well for the hard of hearing and those who want to watch quietly, TennoCon will have a channel providing official transcriptions of major TennoCon presentations. It’ll be at the “WarframeTranscription” Twitch channel, and focus on the Main Stage panels, though the official post teases more.

The Warframe forum post also shares that, as per previous years, co-streaming will be allowed, so you can watch your favorite streamer’s commentary if you prefer—though it’s unclear if it gives rewards (and unlikely).

If you want to join other players to chat about the event, there’ll be an In-Game Relay Event accessible via map, per TennoCon’s official site. There’s also an ongoing free in-game item giveaway via an HP sponsorship, paired with a sweepstakes for a figurine of Warframe: 1999’s Arthur.

Real-life TennoCon attendees, meanwhile, get unique opportunities at the event, including meet-and-greets with actors and unique dev panels to get more insight about the game.
