Crema Games' spin-off of its creatue collecting MMO, Temtem: Swarm, has entered its first beta phase.
Temtem: Swarm was first announced in February of this year and acts as a spin-off to 2022’s Temtem. While that game is an online Pokemon-like title in which players catch and tame various different creatures, Temtem: Swarm sees them taking on the role of the creature themselves, fighting their way through an oncoming horde of enemies with friends.
While it’s currently possible to request access to the title’s beta via the Steam page, it is worth noting that the first wave of invites has already gone out to select players, and it’s currently unclear when the next batch of players will be accepted.
The beta test for Temtem: Swarm includes two separate arenas to explore: Deniz and Cipanku. The first is described as a “Mediterranean paradise of sandy beaches”, while the second is a “techno-oriental promenade under the cherry blossoms”. The beta version of the title has only four Tems playable, though the developer has promised that more will be available at launch.
The full release for the title is scheduled for Q4 of this year, meaning that an actual release date announcement should be coming sooner rather than later.
