Temtem: Swarm Demo Progress To Carry Over, and More Improvements Coming for Early Access

At Steam Next Fest, Temtem: Swarm got a public demo that followed the main beta test. Now, Crema is giving us an update on how the demo experience will impact the Early Access launch.

One of the biggest confirmations is that progress made in the demo, which more than 100,000 people got a chance to play in the seven  days it was available, will carry over into Early Access. So there won’t be a wipe,  but they will reset all skill trees and refund any Pansuns you spent. You’ll have to invest them again when Early Access opens, but consider it a free respec. You won't lose anything in the process.

With 100k players having gotten to try the demo, the devs already promised to use the data and feedback they got to push forth a few additional improvements before Early Access. One of the major changes is to the controls, ini response to Frustrations over the front facing aiming system. They're adding manual aiming to the right joystick and mouse, which effectively turns Temtem: Swarm into a twin stick shooter if that's how you want to play.

There will be some on-screen guidance to show you where you're aiming. If you don't use the right stick and mouse, it will go back to auto-aim,  but this time auto targeting the nearest enemy. The team does note that some techniques will spawn randomly, and occasionally, under an enemy and won’t be aimed. Overall, though, this should help you consistently hit the swarm.

Temtem: Swarm is heading into Early Access on November 13th.
