Temtem: Swarm will be part of this month’s Steam Next Fest, offering a demo for anyone to try the upcoming creature collector meets bullet heaven shooter. Developer Crema has also shared some stats from the game’s recently-ended beta test.
Steam Next Fest will run from October 14-21st. As usual, we can expect many games to have a presence at this event, with previews and dev interviews. And demos. Lots of demos, including first-time opportunities to try a number of featured titles. Temtem: Swarm will be one of the demos that you’ll be able to play for the week of the event. It will have all of the features from the beta test, including co-op.
Crema has also revealed some stats from that recent beta test, which ran from September 12th-October 1st. They sent out thousands of invites, and have stated that response was enthusiastic and they got a lot of feedback that they're going to use to make a smoother, more polished game. During the beta test, in just those couple of weeks, 90 million Tems were defeated, with a total of 7.7 billion in damage, and 445,000 evolutions in the middle of the chaos. Everyone reaped a total of 31 million Pansuns.
If you didn't get a chance to participate in the recent beta, with Steam Next Fest, there’s another chance to see if you can hold off the hordes, maybe earn a little cash, and evolve some Tems along the way. With just one week of playtime available, we clearly can't expect numbers like the beta, but this time you won’t need an invite to jump in and see if this one is for you.
