Tarisland, the upcoming MMORPG from Tencent, has launched its global closed beta test today, bringing the MMO to players on Android and PC for the time being. The beta test is the first public showcase of the MMO at large, giving players the chance to go hands-on ahead of its 2023 launch.

The MMO has been seeding information about its world and classes for the last few weeks, prepping players for the upcoming test. Earlier they looked at the High Elf race, as well as the Mage class, as well as the Barbarian tank class earlier this week. However, during the CBT, there will be seven different classes to choose from:

  • Warrior: The battle-scarred swords and shields are the heroes' medal of honor in which courage and faith are embodied.
  • Mage: Will mastering the power of ice and fire bring order or chaos?
  • Ranger: Beasts are their companions and nature is their friend. The way of hunting is as fundamental as breathing.
  • Barbarian Fighter: Harnessing the power of frost and lightning, they are fearless on the bloody battlefield.
  • Priest: Have faith in the holy light and heal the wounded. Fight against darkness and expel evil.
  • Paladin: Banish evil and protect lives. They never stop pursuing justice and light.
  • Bard: They are the artists of the battlefield, playing beautiful melodies that outshine weapons and elixirs.

Tarisland is a full cross-platform and cross-progression MMO coming to PC and mobile devices, though this test is only on PC and Android - with some restrictions there as well.

Android testing is only available in Brazil, Canada, Argentina, Malaysia, the Philippines, and the United Kingdom. However, if you want to join on PC, the test is open globally - assuming you're chosen to be a part of it since it is a closed beta after all. There doesn't seem to be any iOS testing as of right now.

You can sign up for the closed beta test on the official website today, as there looks to be a ton of places in the world to explore, a 10-person raid to take part in, and even PvP for those players who want to test their mettle against each other. You can learn more on the official website.
