Tarisland’s second closed beta will begin on Wednesday, November 15th, and for those invited, pre-load has already begun. The team is also previewing one of two new classes in the beta, as well as details on some of what testers can expect this round.

To preview some of what awaits those participating in this next beta, the team is teasing a brand new class, the Phantom Necromancer, which specializes in ranged damage and healing. It is the second new class that will be available in this beta test. The other one, the Shadow Swordsman, is all about that melee damage.

The beta will also introduce a new 10 player raid. In order to understand and prepare for this raid, the background story and the lore involved will be revealed through a series of news story based quests. So there will be plenty to do in Taris.

There’s new PvP content in the form of a new arena and two battlegrounds. Rankings will also be there for the ultra competitive too. PvP also gets some optimizations, along with the PvE content, and crafting, all based on player feedback from previous tests.

One of the other new elements that will be part of this test is the cash shop. “For the first time, the Closed Beta will introduce optional in-game purchases for both PC and Android platforms,” the team included in the beta announcement.

If you didn’t get an invite to this closed beta, you may still be in luck, as the team is letting those without invites take part as long as the server capacity hasn’t been reached. For those officially invited, they won’t have to worry about server caps, but the Tarisland team wants more people to get the chance to test.

Tarisland’s second closed beta will be available on PC and Android in several regions, including North America, parts of Europe, Southeast Asia, Argentina, and Brazil. When the game launches, it will be cross-platform and also be out on iOS.
