Signups are now open for a short technical test for Tarisland. The test will be open to testers around the world and include all platforms.
Tarisland’s brief technical test will run from May 27-30th, with 10,000 people invited worldwide. Those with supported devices on all platforms for the cross-platform MMORPG–PC, Android, and iOS–are invited to sign up for consideration. If you're interested, you can sign up from now through May 23rd. You’ll need to register on the Tarisland site and have a Level Infinite Pass account. Once you have done that, you have to pick the registration form for your desired platform and sign up. All three forms and more info for each platform are in the official technical test announcement.
The questions on each platform's recruitment form includes asking what region someone is from, with Southeast Asia, Western Europe, North America, Eastern Europe and CIS, Taiwan, Hong Kong & Macau, and Latin America specifically included, along with an “other” option. This shows the potential scale of this test. With 10k invites to go out, the regional mix is likely to depend on what they need, but it is a global test for sure.
The purpose of the test is designed to verify that things are stable on a larger scale with testers located around the world, so it will use a technical test version that is specifically to make sure things are running smoothly. This step follows the last closed beta back in november, which they cite as the source of a lot of valuable feedback since.
Those who have been selected will start receiving information and a guide to participation in the test via email starting May 25th.
