Level Infinite has just shared a dungeon preview for their MMORPG Tarisland, which is slated to release on both PC and mobile devices. This latest dungeon preview takes place in the Misty Forest area of the MMO, and comes with new enemies and bosses to tackle within the marshy area.

Titled the Merfolk Swamp, the once peaceful and secluded marshlands have since become a feeding ground for violent creatures. The Merfolk Clans recently noticed there were dangerous experiments being concocted by a fallen Druid named Zelo.

The experimentation on the wildlife within the swamp has caused them to become ravenous bloodthirsty monsters that will attempt to destroy anyone that crosses their path. Even the air within the swamp has been tainted, getting worse and worse by the day as the swampland decays and wastes away into nothing.

Players will come across new bosses within the Merfolk Swamp. The first one being Trendsetter" Fraser, who was once known to be a bit of a lumbering oaf. Due to the intense experiments done on him, he has since become stronger, faster, and more brutal than ever before.

As if new bosses and enemies leaving a trail of destruction weren’t bad enough, players will also need to evade Poisonous Mushrooms that spread a noxious gas all around the misty forest floor. What can be worse than poisonous mushrooms? Poisonous mushrooms that have the ability to chase down anyone who gets just a little too close.

For those who make it to the end of the dungeon in one piece, they will need to face Darkfin General Kanros, a fierce warrior who can wield the waters like no other. Players must be sure to watch their back, as Kanros can summon reinforcements to help him take out the Merfolk Swamp intruders once and for all.

No word yet on exactly when Tarisland is meant to be released, with the original estimate being the end of 2023. The Tencent team just wrapped up its second closed beta at the beginning of December and, based on the closed beta feedback, will be dropping the gender lock on classes in the MMO. However, because of this change, the team is requesting “patience” from players who are eager to jump into the MMO, thanks to the time it’ll take to implement.
