Grand Theft Auto Online: San Andreas Mercenaries is coming to all platforms on June 13th to start an all-new story arc and take you to the streets, the sea, and the sky.
Going big once again, Rockstar Games has a new teaser for the content, which will see you battling against San Andreas’ largest private military. You’ll join elite pilots and ex-military to get the job done. Meet pilot Charlie Reed, who also doubles as an aircraft mechanic. He’s at work putting together the Los Santos Angels, a group of pilots and mercenaries to take on some new private work. And this is where you come in. The work includes “stealing sensitive data from server farms, conducting raids, and dropping explosive payloads on high-value targets across the state”.
You’ll have the opportunity to follow through with this work and make out with bonuses like the Mammoth Avenger becoming an aerial command center. This will also mean a weapons system upgrades and a new Operations Terminal. Naturally, Opportunities for doing side projects of your own like running contraband, and availing yourself of cash and more from roving targets will be in order.
The Avenger isn’t the only upgrade coming. Several options to upgrade the Avenger and Hangar are on the way. Some of these include more customization options, including being able to customize the Avenger from your Hangar. There’s even a way to store the Avenger without owning a Hangar or Facility. This opens things up a bit more to all levels of GTAOnline players to enjoy the new content updates.
There are also a number of player experience and quality of life changes on the way, including many community-requested features. Among these are the ability to claim all destroyed vehicles at once when calling Mors Mutual Insurance, custom garage description tags, and updated to the Creator with new choices (snow,anyone?). You'll also be able to turn on hold to sprint from the settings menu.
