With today’s update, Black Desert Online adds the final boss in a 5-player co-op battle to wrap up Atoraxxion: Orzekea. This final chapter of Atoraxxion can now be wrapped up in a climactic battle.
You’ve battled through Vahmalkea, Sycrakea, and Yolunakea, getting items to enter new zones, and learning how to step up to the challenge of new bosses. Now, it can be completed. Pearl Abyss even has a new cinematic trailer for the occasion. Last week, the first part opened, leaving off with a fight against Cathawen, the boss’ knight. Now it's time to directly challenge the boss. Once you do, you gain access to Orze’s Paradise and can clam quests for special loot twice a week.
Events include ways to get special Guardians of Atoraxxions furnishing items, and a visit from Animal Lover Nerry, who you can exchange pets with for items.
Today's update also starts improvements for the Red Battlefield, adding a new matchmaking system, and focusing for now on the Castle Ruins map before adding more later. There’s also a new Guild League season starting up, with a series of improvements to let more people take part and better rewards.
