Tabletop RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister is now available in Steam Early Access.
If you’re interested, you can grab the game for $29.75 which is apparently a 15% launch discount. The Early Access campaign will feature new features and will contain more than 10 hours of gameplay. If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s described as a party-based adventure focusing on elements of verticality to gain a tactical edge.
Locations can be explored by climbing walls, flying, teleporting, crawling through tunnels, finding secret passages, or falling through unstable ground, allowing the player to use the environment to take on encounters in multiple different ways.
The tactical component of this is key as each encounter can be approached in several ways. This includes things like light which help to see your surroundings in addition to using it as a weapon against the light-fearing creatures.
