Polygon is reporting that "System Shock Remastered" is going to be renamed simply "System Shock" when its KickStarter campaign begins on Tuesday, June 28th. According to Night Dive Studios CEO Stephen Kick, the "passion and resources" the development team is putting into the project raises it above a reboot or remaster and into something more.
The best news about Tuesday's KickStarter is that a short demo will be made available to anyone via Steam, GoG and Humble starting that day.
One of the rewards for backing System Shock includes a physical Collector's Edition for either Windows PC or XBox One. Other backer tiers will offer a variety of rewards.
