System Shock 2 Getting an Enhanced Edition 20 Years Later

It looks like System Shock 2 is set to receive an Enhanced Edition 20 years after release.

In a tweet by Nightdive Studios, System Shock 2 Enhanced Edition looks to be in development.

According to Rock Paper Shotgun, the enhanced edition is set to receive a number of improvements, including co-op multiplayer. It will run on Nightdive’s KEX engine. The original game on Steam and GoG will stay in place.

With System Shock 3 in development, this seems like the right time for an enhanced edition of System Shock 2.
