Heroes of the Storm has a big new update today with several features sure to be of interest to beta testers. Sylvanas Windrunner is the latest hero to be added to the game and she packs a whale of a punch judging by her abilities. In addition, the Tomb of the Spider Queen battleground has been added and players can now take part in Team League competitive play.
Team League allows players to create and name dedicated groups and to participate in competitive ranked play against other, similarly skilled, players. Players must reach level 40, own at least ten heroes and either create or become part of a team with a minimum of five players in order to participate in Team League competitions.
Also of note, today's update brings more to hero progression. The level cap for heroes has been increased from 10 to 20 and new gold rewards have been added: 1,250g at level 15 and 2,500g at level 20.
Players can also progress to new rewards that include a 7-day Stimpack at player level 10 and 2,000g at player levels 20, 25, 30, 35, and 40.
Lastly, new skins and mounts have been added to give players even more unique and customized looks for their heroes.
