The next major game update for Star Wars: The Old Republic is almost upon us, as update 7.4.1 was detailed on a recent Twitch livestream. Additionally, a new Date Night feature is being added to give the MMO even more narrative flair.

As part of game update 7.4.1, players will go back to Copero as part of its Galactic Season 6, "Building a Foundation." Heading back to Copero brings players the ability to build its own Copero Stronghold within Chiss space. This stronghold acts as the seasonal hub for the story, and more.

Additionally, you can unlock other rooms within your stronghold by completing story missions offered in the season, while Subscribers will get three more additional rooms from the sub-part of the seasonal track. More rooms are unlockable via Cartel Coins, it seems.

Other aspects previewed during today's stream were the ongoing modernization efforts by the team, with some updated models of the Guild Bank, Cargo Bay, and more from the Utility Bundle. Additionally, an enhanced dye pack is available on the Cartel Market, with a new Green/Gold dye pack coming in March. Prime Centurion and Gothic Master Armors are coming in 7.4.1 as well as new Gothic Master Lightsaber and Dualsaber weapons for players to enjoy.

Fitting for Valentine's Day, Broadsword announced Date Night companion missions, giving new narrative flair to the MMO, specifically some romanceable options. As part of game update 7.4.1, missions for Lana Beniko, Theron Shan, Koth Vortena and Arcann will be available, with more romance options apparently to be released in the future. These new missions give players the chance to unwind, with some examples being heading to the Cantina for a drink or some sparring practice with your in-game love. Each character has their own unique cinematic scene that befits the character, with Broadsword saying that multiple playthroughs will confer more rewards, including a new title, decorations and more.

Before they closed, Broadsword also gave a tease of its upcoming 7.5 update, titled Desperate Defiance, which will see players return to Hutta. Meanwhile, 7.4.1 will be releasing some time in March.
