Supervive, the free to play blend of MOBA, battle royale, and hero shooter, has moved up its open beta date to November 20th after a top showing at Steam Next Fest and successful playtests around the world.

Theorycraft Games announced the date after Supervive had one of the top spots at the last Steam Next Fest in October and feedback from hundreds of thousands of global playtesters. The development team is clearly feeling good about their game, so here comes the beta, where even more can jump in and experience the fast-paced and colorful competition.

Theorycraft will launch open beta in North America, Europe, and Asia, with servers in Korea happening through partnership with Nexon (where a closed beta launched after Steam Next Fest). Anyone who hasn't had a chance to jump in yet can jump in on November 20th. The open beta is going to help the team get even more feedback and real-time data that will help them to polish up the game for eventual 1.0 launch.

Steam Next Fest numbers were solid for Supervive, with the one-week demo garnering  hundreds of thousands of players, with more than 67 million minutes of play time during the week. Some hardcore players even put in 93 hours and more than 470 games in that one week demo. Plus, the level of challenge is no joke,

“13 million hunters were killed and 3.5 million vaults were attempted... only for 70% of them to fail”. Maybe the upcoming beta will help the team find a sweet spot that lets more complete them.

In a press release announcing the moved-up beta, CEO and founder Joe Tung said, “We’re floored by the groundswell of passion and support SUPERVIVE received during Steam Next Fest. After seeing all the new players coming in, how many games they were playing, and the waves of requests we got to leave the servers on…We knew we had to get our Open Beta out there”.

You can wishlist Supervive on Steam to get more info when the test begins. There are also optional supporter packs on the official site.
