Upcoming Italian folklore-inspired Soulslike action RPG Enotria: The Last Song, has extended its closed beta signups.
The team is focusing on continued development of a solid foundation for the game’s eventual launch. Not only have they extended signups through December 31st, they’re also increasing the number of testers they plan to accommodate. When the closed beta was originally announced last month, the team did note that they would begin with a small pool of invited testers, before expanding. Now, they’ve decided to ramp things up.
More players will be able to check out the bright world that, in a previous interview, a representative described to us as “ a Mediterranean, sun-soaked take on the Soulslike genre”. Through their participation and feedback, the team is looking to shore things up with the game’s mechanics and systems for the best possible launch.
To do so, they're looking to do what a beta test is set up to do, monitor play experiences to see what issues crop up and then work to fix them. For that, the wider tester base seems to offer more reach to different systems and playstyles. To encourage more signups and active participation, the studio is also offering a bonus to close beta testers that will be delivered at launch: an exclusive in-game skin.
Developed by Italian studio Jyamma Games for PC, PlayStaion 5 and Xbox Series X|S. There's no currently announced release window.
