Rocksteady Studios is preparing for the release of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League’s Season 1 update, publishing a developer update with details on the latest patch and a look at what’s coming ahead.
The game’s latest patch addressed the ‘Loading Metropolis’ issue, which saw some players experiencing extended loading times. The patch was small and directed at this one particular issue, so the team didn’t have a whole lot to report beyond that on this particular patch.
The game’s next patch, which should include bug fixes and gameplay improvements, particularly to Mutators, won’t make it this week and will instead be delayed until the team has sufficiently tested the changes.
According to Rocksteady, the team is focused on ensuring Season 1 is ready for deployment later this month. That update will include the Joker as a playable character and also add new gear, locations, and more.
Rocksteady has identified a trio of major issues that need the most focus in the immediate future, most of them having to do with connectivity either during login or with matchmaking. There are also issues with mastery progression that the team intends to address in an upcoming patch.
