Rocksteady is set to kick off Suicide Squad Insider, a new Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League video series, this Wednesday with an episode focused on the game’s story and gameplay details.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is a live service title focused on the eponymous Suicide Squad and set within the Arkhamverse series of games previously developed by Rocksteady, such as Batman: Arkham Asylum.
The game is the fifth entry in the series and takes place five years after the events of Rocksteady’s last game, Batman: Arkham Knight. It’s also the first game in the Arkhamverse to not feature Batman as the player character, though Kevin Conroy will reprise his role as Batman in his final performance of the character.

The title was originally set to release in May of this year, but was delayed by WB Games and Rocksteady following a disastrous State of Play presentation that largely disappointed Arkhamverse fans.
It’s difficult to say what’s changed between that presentation and now, but we currently understand the game to be a cooperative open world action RPG in which players can play as familiar Suicide Squad characters such as Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and King Shark.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League releases on February 2, 2024 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
