It’s Pilgrims Bounty time again in World of Warcraft, where you can have extra fun with food, master cooking skills with ease, earn achievements, and of course, hunt and eat turkeys. Or turn others into them. While the last major changes to the event were a few years ago, it’s still a good time to level up your cooking skills and of course earn some extra goodies.
The returning event is on now and ends on November 30th in all capital cities and most towns for both Horde and Alliance. Find a Bountiful Table with a full feast loaded and ready to eat. Sit in each one of the food specific chairs and enjoy a serving of the food it represents. If you eat several helpings of every food you get Spirit of Sharing, which is good for an hour bonus to reputation game. Just keep stuffing yourself if you want to reactivate the bonus after it expires each time. If you are able to pass one of every dish around the Bountiful Table, you’ll also get the Sharing is Caring achievement. Pass the sweet potatoes, pumpkin pie, the turkey, stuffing, and cranberry to take advantage.
Of course if you’re not looking to keep things friendly and civil, you can always engage in FOOD FIGHT by tossing food at someone at one of those Bountiful Tables. This is another way of celebrating if you’re just not into learning to cook or you need a break from eating your way into bonuses. If you’re still feeling mischievous after all of that you can hunt for wild turkey to get the Turkinator achievement or even use your turkey shooter on rogues of most races, temporarily turning them into a turkey.
