With licensing issues now resolved, Dead by Daylight's Stranger Things DLC has returned.
Two years ago, Behaviour Interactive was forced to remove the Stranger Things DLC from the Dead by Daylight shop due to the conclusion of the studio's licensing agreement with Netflix. Players who owned characters from the DLC (which included Steve Harrington, Nancy Wheeler, and the Demogorgon) were still able to play those characters, but Behaviour removed the Hawkins National Laboratory map from map playlists entirely.
Behaviour recently announced that the studio has renewed its deal with Netflix, allowing for the DLC to return to the shop and the Hawkins Nationa Laboratory map to become playable once again.
Dead by Daylight is no stranger (pun intended) to to fun collaborations, so if Stranger Things isn't your speed, you may want to check out the fictionalized version of Nicolas Cage, who was added to the game earlier this year.
The Stranger Things Chapter is available for $11.99 in the in-game shop.
