A "Fall 2024" release date has been given to Unknown 9: Awakening, a science fiction/fantasy RPG announced by Bandai Namco and Reflector at Summer Game Fest. It was originally announced early March this year.
The game centers around the destiny of Haroona, a woman with the rare ability to step into the mystical in-between realm of "The Fold." It seems she's fated to question and take on The 9, a not-so-secret organization that essentially has a grasp on the fate of humanity.
Bandai already has some media out on the game, including two novels, a nine-episode scripted podcast, and a comic book.
The game appears to have releases slated for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC platforms, at least on Steam.
