The Final Fantasy XIV site has a pair of updates today of interest to the community. The Stormblood microsite has been updated with information released recently. You can find out more about the red mage / samurai, new screenshots and concept art and much more. In addition, former players can take part in a new log-in event for up to 96 hours. It's a great way to get reacquainted with the game and see what's new.
Stormblood is the next expansion to Final Fantasy XIV that features a new level cap, two new jobs, new locations, new dungeons, an 8-player raid, a new alliance raid, new gear / crafting recipes and expanded inventory and much more. Stormblood is set for release on June 20th.
The log in campaign is scheduled to kick off today and run through May 7th. Former players who have registered a copy of the game can log in and take part in the game for up to 96 hours from the point of your first log in. You can read all of the details and restrictions by visiting the event page.
