Ubisoft has posted an update on the XBox One UK site to inform players about the first update to Steep. Players will be able to look forward to the World Tour Tournament which allows players around the world to compete monthly.
The first called, “Backcountry” a qualification phase requiring players to hit 5000 points in order to move forward to the next stage became available on 27th January. Only the top 32 players from this Tournament will be able to go on to the final, where Steep credits will be offered as prizes.
The team also confirmed that the Alaska map with its unique challenges will be released on February 10th 2017.
