It looks like SteelSeries has added to their roster of peripherals by introducing a wireless version of their Rival 3 mouse boasting a 400+ hour battery life.
The Rival 3 Wireless is apparently their first mouse to feature their new TrueMove Air optical gaming sensor. According to the accompanying press release,
“This sensor is the most power-efficient sensor SteelSeries has ever made. This revolutionary technology provides an industry-leading 400+ hours of battery life for uninterrupted use for a year or more. Gamers can now play with confidence during every crucial in-game moment, without the worry of having to recharge or replace their battery.”
The sensor is a custom 18,000 CPI, 400 IPS, 40G sensor developed with PixArt. A 2.4 GHz wireless USB sensor is included to allow the full 1000 Hz polling rate. SteelSeries also boasts a 1ms response time, in addition to Bluetooth 5.0.
The switches are rated at 60M clicks. You can also adjust the weight of the mouse with dual AAA batteries or just a single AAA battery. Onboard memory helps store up to five profiles. The price? The Rival 3 Wireless will be priced at $49.99
