Blizzard has announced StarCraft II War Chest 6 is now live, bringing a load of goodies for players.
These goodies include a bunch of new skins, sprays, emojis, and more. These War Chests also give players the chance to support War Chest Team League which is an upcoming tournament being run in partnership with Wardi.
Blizzard notes,
“Our goal for War Chest 6 is to make War Chest Team League a success. To that end, we’re committing the first USD $150,000 of the proceeds (less taxes) to prizing and tournament operations for the event.”
The War Chest schedule is as follows, with Phase 1 kicking of today:
- June 11, 2020: Phase 1 Unlocks
- July 9, 2020: Phase 2 Unlocks
- August 6, 2020: Phase 3 Unlocks
In total, over 80 goodies in loot are available to unlock. Note that the Terran, Protoss, and Zerg each have unique loot items with their own unit skins, decals, sprays, emojis, and portraits. As for these phases, these are broken out over many weeks. You can look at each individual phase here.
Note that each war chest contains its own progression path. If you want to grab them all, you can purchase the War Chest Complete Bundle. Finally, there is a deadline for these War Chests, ending on October 1, 2020. However, if you didn’t complete War Chest 6 by that time, the contents within will be available to purchase later.
