Star Wars: The Old Republic recently released their latest update Rising Powers which brought plenty of features to the game. However, update 7.6.1 wasn't without it's issues, so Broadsword has deployed Game Updates 7.6.1a and 7.6.1b, aiming to address issues.
Patch 7.6.1a, released earlier this month, resolved key problems including inaccurate Conquest point calculations for players owning duplicate Strongholds and corrected visual glitches with Galactic Season items such as hairstyles and blaster pistols. Additionally, unlocking the Kaas Vibrosword Display Decoration now provides five decorations instead of one.
Patch 7.6.1b, which was scheduled for March 21st, focuses further on player experience enhancements. Story Mode will replace Veteran Mode in the Group Finder for Uprisings, featuring reduced enemy health and damage to create smoother gameplay. Enhanced enemies will appear more frequently when using the Experimental Combat Enhancer.
The update also fixes visual bugs involving Coruscanti and Kaas Traveler’s Hoods, and resolves mission progression issues blocking cinematics in Knights of the Eternal Throne and Knights of the Fallen Empire. While there's still plenty left to fix, the developers will continue addressing problems via community feedback, so jump in and add the issues you've encountered on the forums to help.
