Star Wars: The Old Republic is getting players ready for its upcoming events this month, detailing its upcoming events calendar on the official website. Events include a Pirate Incursion, a little bounty hunting and more.
The upcoming month's events have actually already kicked off in SWTOR, starting with the Relics of the Gree event that kicked off on June 28th. This runs through July 5th (next Tuesday) and sees players explore Ilum's Western Ice Shelf to uncover a giant ancient Gree starship. Players can earn weapons, reputation with the Gree, and more for their troubles.
The Pirate Incursion is scheduled for later in the month, hitting the galaxy on July 12th. On the planet of Dantooine which is being ravaged by warfare thanks to the Republic and Sith Empire, Nova Blade pirates have taken advantage of the situation and launched an attack of their own.
"The remote planet Dantooine has been thrust into the center of escalating hostilities between the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire. Spurred on in secret by covert Imperial forces, the Nova Blade pirates have staged an all-out attack on the pastoral Republic world. As the Republic scrambles to defend this key territory at the edge of Imperial space, the Empire plans to capitalize on the chaos and deal a major blow to the longtime Republic bastion."
Rewards include armor sets for both the Dantooine Homesteaders and Nova Blades, a new companion and more.
Finally, the Bounty Brokers Association is opening up some dangerous contracts during the week of July 26th through the 2nd of August. Players can take on a standard Henchman and Kingpin Profile contract each day to earn loot and reputation.
