Galactic Season 7, “The Greatest Bounty”, new Date Night companion missions, new Cartel Market goodies,  all come to Star Wars: The Old Republic with update 7.5.1 today.

The update is now live, and both Aric Jorgen and Vette are getting special new missions as part of the narrative feature. If you are in a romance with one of these characters, and  the companions are available in your player's story, you'll get weekly date night missions. More romanceable companions will get this new content over time.

Earn some rewards with a new Galactic Season. Whether you play on the free or subscriber tracks, there are rewards for making progress. The new season also debuts alongside the Bounty Contract event, which features world bosses from the Dark vs. Light (DvL) event. One Dark side and one Light Side boss will be available each week.

There are a number of fixes and balance changes in the update, as well as a few tweaks to thwart exploitation. Much of the update is focused on fixes and adjustments, but there is some new content to keep you busy in 7.5.1.

One of the major changes in this update is an overhaul to gear progression, that the team announced last month. the changes include increasing choices of rewards from missions to help players progress towards Artifact gear. Part of this is with a choice between upgrade caches or additional currency. There are also adjustments to bump up the number of weekly missions you can do, along with caps on progression currency. Broadsword is emphasizing more opportunities.

If you're looking for some new customization options, there are several adjustments  to customization options, including opening up a few hairstyles to more races. Female Chiss, for instance, can now use the Devoted Disciple style, if unlocked. Male Chiss with certain body and face types can also not use buzzed hairstyle number one and number two

The Cartel Market has added the Imperial Commando armor, the Deadly Outkast outfit and Short Locs hairstyle, both inspired by The Acolyte. There’s also a new “Inspired by” tab as a shortcut to stuff inspired by The Mandalorian, Andor, and The Book of Boba Fett.

For those who have wanted to transfer over to the Shae Vizla server, all transfer restrictions are now gone.
