EA’s incredibly popular mobile free-to-play turn-based strategy RPG, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes, is coming to PC. Eight years after its mobile release, EA plans to release the title on PC with full cross-save functionality, as well as better performance and visuals.
The PC client will allow players to play at their desired resolution, use the mouse and keyboard input method (no controller support at this time), achieve 60 FPS framerates, enable anti-aliasing, and other PC quality-of-life features EA has yet to detail. Besides these improvements, the gameplay on the PC client should be identical to the mobile version.
As with many mobile games, players have been able to access Galaxy of Heroes via various emulators since its release back in 2015, but this PC release is the latest in a string of mobile-to-PC releases over the years and options are always great for everyone. Speaking to Game Informer, EA assures players that updates will be released simultaneously to both PC and mobile audiences so that players can seamlessly continue their experience between devices without missing a beat.
