The Star Wars Galaxies Legends team is celebrating May the Fourth with an exciting giveaway and a number of other festivities.
On the giveaway front, players can enter to win a pair of Prima Official Strategy Guides for Star Wars Galaxies and Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed, the Star Wars MMO’s spacefaring expansion. Players can enter to win between now and May 6.
Getting back to the in-game festivities, players can expect double everything between now and May 6. This means double XP, tokens, gas, comms, GCW, etc.
Players visiting Cloud City can interact with the wandering Ugnaughts to potentially win a reward or search special containers that have been strewn throughout the city for junk loot.
Lastly, the Legends team is bringing back a fan-favorite with the return of the 9000 Z001 Landspeeder. Otherwise known as the Ubrikkian 9000, this landspeeder features an unusual rounded shape. It’s not the fastest speeder, but it’s said to have great maneuverability due the micro-thrusters found throughout its hull.
It’s been two years since the 9000 Z001 made an appearance in Legends, but players who missed it last time will now have the chance to claim it for the first time or on a different character
