Star Trek Online: Unraveled is now available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The update follows the conclusion of the Mirror Universe story arc, and sets your captain on a special humanitarian scientific mission that becomes more complicated than it would appear at first.

This follows the events from Terran Gambit and the conclusion of that story arc, but some of the content here is still rooted in what happened. The Mirror Universe Arc will not go quietly, but the adventure here is new.  You are chosen to go on a humanitarian scientific mission with Admiral Kuumaarke on an effort to stabilize the Na’kuhl sun.

Unfortunately, the mission is interrupted by a discovery that will lead you into a new mystery. This discovery concerns a transdimensional reality Vortex that is disrupting space-time all throughout the Multiverse. Things just weren't going to be quiet. This leads to conflict with the Tholians, who say that  all of the constant time travel and dimensional travel has caused these vortices–and it's partially your fault.

Just a little light adventuring. unraveled features a new story arc that brings back Kipleigh Brown to reprise her role as Admiral Kuumaarke. Brown is the latest Star Trek actor to reprise their role and bring their character to Star Trek Online. You will work with the Admiral in order to  investigate the vortices, uncover the mystery behind their formation, and to help save the multiverse.

Just a little light humanitarian science mission. The new episode is called Wish Upon a Star.

The update also brings a new task force operation called Leviathan and two new Patrols. Both of these are based on the Terran Gambit story arc. In Leviathan, This five player TFO simulates a Trench Run exercise that involves the Other in a scenario that asks what if the Terran Gambit Arc had ended differently? The Patrols Jupiter Gauntlet and Bringers of War are both based off the Terran Gambit arc. There's even a hard mode if you want extra challenge and reward.

Head over to Star Trek Online for more details.
