Star Trek Online announced that they’re joining the programming of the Vendor’s Haul Convention. Here’s what you need to know.
The convention is taking place on November 7, so you have plenty of a heads up notice. The team will be participating in a panel with two scientists: Erin Macdonald, the Science Advisor for Star Trek in general, and STLV mainstay, “The Bad Astronomer” Phil Plait. They’ll also be joined by Senior Content Designer Jesse Heinig.
Together, they’ll discuss science and Star Trek Online, of course, while taking a close look into the challenges of creating a black hole for their Gravity Kills mission. You can check out full details here. And in case you missed it, the House Shattered update is now live in the game on PC. It’s set to release on consoles on January 12, 2021.
The update will see a new 5-player Task Force Operation inspired by the show, Picard. There will also be four revamped missions from the Warzone Klingon Storyline, including a special event to provide credits and rewards. You can learn about that here.
