Star Cititzen Roadmap Reveals Host of Changes

The latest Star Citizen roadmap shares a host of changes, additions, and more to the game.

A bunch of cards have been added to Alpha 3.9, such as high speed combat, new targeting methodology, law system v2: surrender, improvements to player interaction system, ship AI: 3D pathfinding – planet side, ship AI: 3D navigation – collision avoidance, and weather locomotion. Alpha 4.0 has seen body dragging and a ship HUD rework added to its columns.

Quite a few things have been removed from the roadmap as well, including:

  • GP-33 Grenade Launcher
  • Commodity Transfer Timers
  • Accounting App
  • Economy Display Terminal
  • Dynamic Missions System
  • Dynamic Mission System
  • FPS Combat: Weapon Types
  • FPS: Cover Usage v1
  • NPC Improvements: Civilian
  • Esperia Prowler
  • Cutlass Blue
  • Multicrew – Expanded Pilot Role
  • Multicrew – Expanded Turret Gunner Role
  • Door System Improvements
  • Atmospheric Combat
  • Zero-G Push & Pull
  • NPC Healing
