Standalone XCOM Chimera Squad Hits PC April 24

It’s official. XCOM Chimera Squad hits PC on April 24.

Chimera Squad is a standalone title which is set to hit PC  on Steam on April 24 for an “introductory price” of $10. It will be available at its suggested retail price of $19.99 on May 1, 2020.

Chimera Squad is set five years after the events of XCOM 2 when humans, hybrids and aliens have seemingly started working together. However, City 31, described as a model of peace in a post-invasion world, faces external threats by forces unknown. Chimera Squad, which is an elite force of human, hybrid and alien agents, if formed to root out and eliminate these threats.

“We’re inspired by our passionate community and excited by the opportunity to create a dynamic, innovative, and unique XCOM experience for both fans of our games and new players in XCOM: Chimera Squad,” said Steve Martin, President at Firaxis Games in a press release.
