Final Fantasy XIV will be making an appearance at Gamescom 2024, and according to the developers, there will be a few surprises in store.
Getting to compete in different activities such as the Battle Challenge and Dungeon Runs will be a hoot for sure, but there is one event that is sure to get any long-time FFXIV fan excited. Starting on Thursday, August 22nd, fans and newcomers alike will have a chance to play side by side with Yoshi-P on stage duking it out through various battle content. There are only a few spots available though, so anyone who wants to take part in something that could be once in a lifetime should get to the FFXIV info counter early.
Those who want to either try the title for the first time or test their mettle against Valigarmanda in the Battle Challenge can get their hands on an “I BEAT” T-shirt if they reign victorious. Fans can also attempt to bring down Snowcloak in the Dungeon run, and though this battle won’t come with a physical reward, it presents a great opportunity to introduce newcomers to the title for the first time.
Gamescom 2024 is going to be massive, as there will be several demos to try out for upcoming titles such as Crimson Desert, which is being developed by Pearl Abyss – the developers behind Black Desert Online.
