The Lord of the Rings Online team has been busy with processing the crush of transfers to their recently-opened 64-bit servers, and while that continues to ease up, the Spring Festival has returned.

This year's Spring Festival is back with activities at multiple locations. If you’ve taken part in the event before, then you know that there are different activities at these locations: Bree-land Festival Grounds, Thorin’s Hall, Duillond, and Brockenborings. Not only will you find varied activities at each of these locations, but you'll also get event quests. Start by getting the repeatable quest, “A Taste of Spring” once you get your map of the festival grounds from the quest actions UI.

Activities you can get into during the event include brewing some brew in Brockenborings (once per character), dancing with dwarf-folk in Thorin’s Hall, stomping shrews in the gardens at Duillond’s gardens, a pie eating contest, travel through a hedge maze, and horse races in Bree-land and The Shire. These are just some of the activities that  can help you welcome spring. You can also do some dancing, and even helping others with their troubles.

This year’s rewards include Flowering Hedges in , yellow, and purple, Dress of Budding Spring and a long-sleeved version, Tome of the Hedgehog and Hare Parade, and Goat of Budding Spring.

There are also  seasonal instances to participate in for additional rewards.
