Nintendo has revealed the release date for Splatoon 3’s ‘Side Order’ expansion in a new trailer published earlier this week.
In Side Order, players assume the role of Agent 8 and will be faced with an Inkopolis Square completely drained of its color and its residents mysteriously absent. A Spire of Order looms large over the city along with a drone that claims to be Off the Hook’s Pearl. The player must defeat hordes of enemies as they ascend the Spire of Order in order to uncover its secrets. The new content is intended to offer players tons of replay value.

Nintendo originally unveiled the Splatoon 3 Expansion Pass on a Nintendo Direct last February. The game launched in September 2022 and has received numerous updates since then, including its latest update, Chill Season. In November, Nintendo released three new Splatoon amiibo for Frye, Shiver, and Big Man.
Splatoon 3 ‘Side Order’ arrives on the Nintendo Switch on February 22.
