Warframe is unleashing Gauss Prime with today’s update, as the Saint of Altra gets a new look, higher stats, and faster speed and reload.
Gauss Prime’s release gets a brand new cinematic trailer to show off the upgrades with a highlight being just how fast Gauss Prime is and setting up some of the lore for the release. You’ll be able to craft Gauss Prime starting today via Prime Access or in-game, by earning the right blueprint and by collecting the chassis, systems, and Neuroptics via Void Fissure missions. You can also head to the marketplace for a limited time.
Gauss Prime’s Mach Rush lets you head towards enemies and hit them at top speed. You can also convert kinetic energy from this sprinter into both offensive (Thermal Sunder) or defensive options (Kinetic Plating). There’s also a powerful Redline buff that can increase attack, movement speed, and reload.
With the release, there are several Prime Tech weapons out today, including the Aceltra Prime Rifle and Akarius Prime dual pistols. These weapons will help you tailor your Gauss Prime experience after unlock.
In the marketplace, the highlight is the new Warframe and Gauss Prime accessories, including Altra Prime Syandana, Doppline Prime armor, and 90-day resource and affinity boosters. A few items in the marketplace are exclusive to Prime Access members. Those are the Gauss Prime Blazargaze helmet, and Gauss Prime Floof bonus items.
