Soulframe is still blazing along with changes to their Preludes builds, as the team shows off some of the upgrades they've made in Prelude 9. In a short the team released on YouTube,  Digital Extremes has unveiled an exciting bow combat rework for Soulframe, with fluid mechanics and some new dynamics.

Rogues and Archers rejoice, as Prelude 9 introduces a "return to range" with the bow combat rework. If you've taken a break from helping Digital Extremes test their upcoming fantasy game, you might want to make your way back and give it another shot. Alongside the bow enhancements, Prelude 9 introduces a new weapon called the Odiac, expands faction interactions through engaging repeatable activities called Paths and it will also allow players to select from three new pacts aligned with Spirit, Courage, or Grace, each offering unique gameplay advantages.

Prelude 9 further enriches the world of Soulframe with new World Trees and a substantial world expansion, complemented by updated loot systemsmeant to reward players for doing... whatever it is they prefer to do, be it combat or exploration. Enhanced visuals and quality-of-life improvements round out Prelude 9 as a robust evolution in the grand developmental journey of Soulframe.

The team hasn't stopped at a simple tease of what is currently available in Prelude 9. Prelude 10 is also slated to continue on the trajectory of expanding and innovating the world of Soulframe. Combat is once again a main focus, with the addition of secondary weapon slots, fresh enemy types, new armor and damage classifications. Lore hounds will also find a refinement to faction dynamics too, so keep your eyes out for updates related to the next prelude headed our way in just a few short months. Prelude 9 came just 3 short months after Prelude 8, so if that content schedule holds, players should be hopping into Prelude 10 sometime this Summer.
