SOS Gives You & 15 Others a Half Hour to Escape a Deadly Island

SOS is an upcoming game from Outpost Games that is ready to provide adrenaline junkies with a new challenge. In the game, sixteen players are dropped onto a deadly island and have a scant 30-minutes to make their escape. To make a clean getaway, players will need to retrieve a relic, though that's just the beginning. SOS features a twist on the survival genre in that "to win" players will need to use voice and personality to build bonds with others to make good the escape.

According to Outpost Games, every player "can become a performer. WIth the Hero platform, every game has a live audience that provides real-time feedback and influences gameplay. By entertaining the crowd, players become the star of the show."

To get a better idea of what the game embodies, an alpha test is scheduled from September 30-October 1 and again on October 14-15 and November 4-5. Players who are interested in being selected should head to the SOS site to sign up.
