Beginning Tuesday, July 31st, Destiny 2 will see the start of the Solstice of Heroes when the denizens of the City take an opportunity to thank Guardians for "bravely defending them". Players "will put on the now-broken ceremonial armor to remind themselves of what it's like to not be invincible. During the event, Ikora Rey will provide players with a new event armor that can be upgraded during the Solstice of Heroes.
Players will be able to upgrade their armor through Redux Missions. There will be five story missions with twists to the originals. Each one is accessed from the Tower after finding its statue. The missions are: Homecoming; Spark; Payback; 1AU and Chosen.
There will also be five new Triumphs available that can be tracked on the Bungie site or in-game. These can be earned through collecting bounties that are also found at the Statue of Heroes.
