The team-based tactical PC RPG, Solasta: Crown of the Magister has finally received a full release date. The RPG will be leaving early access and hitting full 1.0 on Steam and GOG on May 27th.
Solasta: Crown of the Magister is developed by French studio, Tactical Adventures, and since entering early access has received overwhelmingly positive reviews from players and critics alike. Brining an old-school feel back to the PC RPG, Solasta also uses Dungeons & Dragons' SRD 5.1 ruleset, firmly solidfying its table top feel with players.
Recently, Solasta released its Spring update, complete with its own dungeon creator allowing players to create their own campaigns to play. Robin had the chance to check out the Spring update and chat with the developers as it launched late last month. Now, with the next major push the team is steaming ahead towards full release.
In a post on the game's Steam news feed, the team laid out what players can expect with the full 1.0 release, including the full Solasta: Crown of the Magister campaign, more side quests, the fully orchestrated OST, an increase to the level cap and more. 1.0's release doesn't mark the end of development on Solasta either, as the team has already laid out some of their initial plans, including free post-launch DLC for all players as well as shipping physical Kickstarter rewards to backers.
You can grab Solasta: Crown of the Magister now if you don't want to wait, or you can check out the 1.0 release on Steam or GOG when it launches fully on May 27th.
