Smite and Smite 2 have partnered with Warner Bros for a collaboration crossover event with animated film Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim.
This event stands out because it's available for the first and the second game, and you won't miss out if you don't currently have access to Smite 2. In order to claim the cosmetics, you need to play 10 games in either game. There’s one caveat –all of the 10 matches must be in the same game. No splitting five games here and five games there. Nope, pick one.
Once you do get 10 matches under your belt, you’ll get all eight items for both games.
The cosmetics for Smite 1 are:
- The Lord of the Rings Loading Screen
- Helm Hammerhand Avatar
- Daughter of Rohan Global Emote
- Wulf Jump Stamp
For Smite 2, you can enjoy:
- The Lord of the Rings Card FX
- Helm Hammerhand Badge
- Daughter of Rohan Badge
- Daughter of Rohan Global Emote
The way this works means that even if you don't currently have access to the second game, claim the bundle and you'll have these cosmetics waiting for you when you do.
If you're interested in grabbing these special cosmetics, the event will begin on December 10th in both games. It ends on different dates. For Smite 1, that’s January 21st. For Smite 2, the end date is January 14th. If you want to see the film, that's coming out in theaters on December 13th.
