Titan Forge has announced details and pricing on Smite 2 Founder’s Editions, with a promise of closed alpha access and in-game goodies.
There are three edition choices to consider, with the standard Founder’s Edition $29.99, for full game access, all Smite 2 gods, special avatar, badge, and title, and 2x Legacy Gems. The $59.99 Deluxe edition also includes a cross-gen Nightstalker Neith skin and Ascension passes for 11 gods during alpha launch weekend, in addition to everything in the standard edition. Finally, if you really want bonuses in Smite, the $99.99 Ultimate edition includes all of the above, and another skin, Tier 5 cross-gen The Fallen Zeus, badge and title unique to this level, and Ascension passes for the first 23 alpha gods.
Ascension passes are part of the new progression system in Smite 2. The team plans on releasing more info on them sometime before their summer release.
Smite 2 is headed into closed alpha sometime this spring, and buying a Founder’s Pack will get you in, though the team released a FAQ about all of these editions and what it means. The team announced a special Cacodemon 2 Ymir skin as a preorder bonus for those who buy during the closed alpha period, and that will come with these newly-announced three Founder’s pack tiers, but only through alpha weekend. If you wait too long, you'll be able to buy it sometime later.
You can still sign up for Alpha consideration on the official site and the team says they will continue sending out occasional invites that way as well as holding giveaways on social media.
When it comes to these editions, you have to make sure that you are buying one for the platform you intend to play the game on. Since game access will be only available on that platform. Cross-gen skins will be usable in Smite 1 on connected accounts and all platforms. You can also use cosmetics in Smite 1 immediately after you buy a Founder's Edition.
