Sky: Children of the Light is kicking off a new season, the “Season of Duets”, next week, with new story and an emphasis on music and connection.
The season starts on Monday, July 15th. Head to Aviary Village and find the Duets guide to get started. This time, there’s a new area of focus for the event - the new Aviary Village concert hall. You'll take the time to head backstage, find a room that has colorful costumes, accessories, decor, and of course, musical instruments.
Part of the event follows a story of two spirits who were once connected via their music and you'll get a chance to play through and discover how you can connect over melodies and how music can inspire. As the season continues, there will be a number of event quests that will let you work to figure out how to piece together a song. Elements of this song will be in the quests and the memories that unfold as you continue playing through the event and discover what the song truly means. Along the way, you’ll help restore the seasonal event area and uncover a stage.
Since this is the Season of Duets, it should be no surprise that the event heavily features Sky’s music system. Everyone can join in and try to play music, on your own or even, naturally, duet with others. You'll also have opportunities to unlock a new emote and to also play music with friends on the stage. For Season Pass holders, there will be three Ultimate Gifts that you'll have a chance to unlock.
