Sky: Children of the Light is launching a new collaboration with Sanrio’s Cinnamoroll. One of the company’s classic characters, the cute puppy will head into Sky for a three-week event.
Cinnamoroll will bring some knowledge of cafe management to the game via a special appearance to mark the grand opening of the first cafe in Aviary Village. The event begins on April 27th and you can fly over to celebrate the cafe’s grand opening with this special guest. Well, the scenery is already colorful and cute, the addition of Cinnamoroll will add an extra touch of adorable fun for three weeks.
Exploring the area while in town for the event, Cinnamoroll offers some themed daily quests. Complete these to earn event currency. There are five to gather every day via these daily quests, ordering from the cafe, and taking selfies or other photos with the guest of honor. If you feature the adorable puppy in your photos, That's another way to earn yourself some event currency.
As for what you can use the event currency on, there will be new themed cosmetics, including accessories, plushies, capes, and additional items in a very limited time collection. As in, they’ll be here for a few weeks and aren’t scheduled to return.
After the May 17th end of the event, the Aviary Village cafe will be open and the team says that it's a good place to meet a Spirit, other players. Maybe meet up and request help or offer to help someone else. This is another social element thatgamecompany is adding to their cozy MMO.
