Sky: Children of the Light Gets a Moomin Collab Later This Month

Sky: Children of the Light, the cozy multiplayer game by Thatgamecompany will feature a collab with Moomin for the Season of Moomin, which runs between October 14 and December 29.

The Season of Moomin will focus on the story of Ninny the Invisible Child of Tove Jansson’s Moomin books. In this story, Ninny will confront her greatest fears and gain wisdom over the course of overcoming a variety of obstacles that stand in her way.

The event will feature new visuals and gameplay, including the new forest landscape of Moominvalley. Players will take on the form of butterflies when they enter Moominvalley and meet the Moomin family, where they’ll then guide Ninny through her story and aid her in finding her true self. The game’s environment will transform around the player, slowly shifting from dark greys and into vibrant colors as Ninny progresses through her journey.

Players can look forward to a variety of new seasonal items including the Moomin Storybook and a cozy family portrait unlockable via regular Candles.  Players with the Season Pass can unlock three Ultimate Gifts in the Storybook’s Friendship Tree.
